Delivery was earlier than originally stated which was a first and customer service was great throughout with friendly and sensible guidance and quick response times. The skirting looks great and frees up so much space. If you are doing a refurb then definitely consider this product.”

“We installed thermaskirt upstairs in our cottage in 2010 in order to save on wall space (of which there isn't much). Thermaskirt is only a portion of each room's skirting and initially it looked like the extent of thermaskirt wouldn't be enough, but it has nicely heated two bedrooms and a large landing space for the last 15 years without any issues and we live in northeast scotland. It has operated that duration without issues so I would rate it as highly reliable as well as it's benefits for saving walls space.”

Explaining the concept usually brings another comment..... that will save so much space, please can we come and see when you have installed. “We're very happy with the Thermaskirt. The skirting is esthetic, gives an even heat all around and doesn't take up valuable wall space. Ideal for small appartments and rooms where underfloor heating is not an option. The system is fairly easy to install, particularly with the new bellow connectors. It is also an advantage that in case that there might occur a problem it is easy to take off the wall again to check the various parts. We operate the system from a distance with an app which works very well. Both the Dutch and the English team have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering questions, advice and troubleshooting. The Youtube installation video is very clear although when I last saw it, it didn't show the use of the bellows yet.”

The installation test showed that it threw out a lot of heat, which should make our kitchen much more comfortable. DiscreteHeat's service and helpfulness was very good, answering queries and providing the design quickly and delivering the kit on schedule. The one recommendation I would make is to have your installer (or yourself if you are doing it DIY) review and plan the source feed into the system to make sure that there is minimal extra work (moving pipework etc.) needed to get the Thermaskirt fitted.”

We had Thermaskirt fitted approximately 10 years ago and have been very satisfied with this product and this is the first time we have had any issue. “We've had our Thermaskirt installed for the best part of 10 years, and I noticed some staining coming out of the side of a cover plate a couple of weeks ago. After taking the cover plate off, I realised a connection piece had either worked itself loose, or hadn't been quite connected properly. After enquiring about a repair service, Discrete Heat contacted me same day, were extremely helpful on the phone, explaining the process required to fix the issue and will be sending out some replacement parts. “We had Discrete Heat's skirting board heating installed throughout our upstairs in May of 2024. We did use a professional installer as we were also getting a heat pump installed at the same time which meant everything could be done VAT free. The system has been installed for about 8 months now including some rather cold snaps in late 2024 and early 2025 (I think -5C was the coldest we saw). Our system is designed for a flow temperature of 45C @ -3C outside. Even during the coldest snaps, our flow temperature didn't raise above 42 (so slightly better than designed). The system is quiet, no creaking or anything. It's also very safe for our toddler - compared to having radiators with sharp corners for her to fall against. Even the cats love it and you know it's on because they'll lean up against it.”

“I am writing this review to show my appreciation for Discreet Heat. I bought my system over eight years ago, and it has been a fantastic investment. When I encountered an issue with the thermostat, they replaced it with no hassle. Recently, the plastic on the lockshield valve cracked, which my heating engineer assured me was normal wear and tear. I contacted Discreet Heat today, and they are replacing it free of charge and will send it straight away, which is incredibly important because it is very cold at the moment. Over the years, I have experienced nothing but exemplary customer service from this company. Their commitment to their customers' satisfaction is truly commendable.”

“Found DH, Thermaskirt online when looking for options to get rid of the rad's in my newbuild where the developer gave no thought to where one might put a sofa or side unit. After lots of research I went for it, got a really good price I have to say as they were doing a promo at the time which they honored even after the deal had actually lapsed. This was a DIY install... They sent everything I needed plus spares (There was one faulty tectite elbow which I had to replace as there wasn't a spare but it was only a quick trip to Screw Fix, no biggy) - I imagine they would have sent a repacement but I needed to get it finished and it was a sunday. I struggled a bit with the start of the install but once I understood what the manual was saying it started to go on the wall quickly. (I had an email back and forth [out of office hours] with Martin the MD and he was happy to take notes on what I found confusing and told me to send anything to their CS team so their teams could look at it and improve if possible) so that's pretty impressive in terms of CS and willingness to take onboard feedback. The install was straightforward, with the exception of the heated threshold but that was due to the hardness of the screed nothing to do with DH/TS. Just be prepared for that if you have a newbuild. Having now lived with the system for several months I have to say I absolutely love it, I plan to put it in other rooms moving forwards. The heat delivery is really impressive especially when you're used to radiators that are hot next to them but it's cold on the other side of the room. TS heats the room so evenly. If you're a competent DIYer it's something you'll be able to do yourself!! I can't recommend the system enough, it's a fantastic alternative to UFH and 100% better than traditional rads!!”

“I have had Thermaskirt fitted at various stages over the last few years and I think my first system was fitted back in 2008! Following a ceiling leak we had repainted (badly) so my Thermaskirt top strip had taken a battering. I was also concerned about the heat levels in my kitchen as it is extremely poorly insulated. I contacted Discreteheat and they could not have been more supportive. They arranged for an engineer to come over to have a look at the heat levels and they discovered that the whole house needed to be balanced correctly. If only I had rang them sooner!! Every room is beautifully toasty and the top strip was replaced which makes the skirting look brand new. Absolutely delighted with the service and also that the engineer (Carl) went above and beyond to make sure all the other rooms were functioning well.
